grateful for where we are

getting needed interviews and paperwork completed
We are grateful to wake up each day and experience the meaningful activities that our Father has planned for us!

1. Active and creative – Our students continue to smile and be motivated during online classes. We love to exercise together, do actions and, in general, celebrate that we are free to speak and learn together while still lamenting our community circumstances.

2. Restricted yet full of opportunities – Our movements continue to be limited by the efforts to contain and manage the virus, which is currently a serious problem in our community and in other parts of the country. The delivery people cannot come to our front door anymore. We have to pick up our items at the entrance to our community. We still order most of our groceries online and never eat at restaurants. But our bellies are full and we are healthy! We get coffee sometimes and have enjoyed ordering bread and fish from the Russian restaurant across town. Through the extra activities, we meet new people and interact with officials and workers more often. These are blessed moments.

3. Bright future – This month we signed new contracts! And K’s application for a residence permit was submitted. We expect to be able to turn P’s in this coming week as well. The Holy Spirit made it possible for all of the documents for our experts certificates and contracts to all be done the same evening, without any negotiations. We met new officials and had friendly, productive interactions because of your prayers. Yay!

4. Friends – We meet new friends and keep up with old friends online. Our weekly video series keeps our friends and their kids growing and learning and connected. We enjoy hearing from them and getting referrals. The lockdown has been hard on many people mentally and emotionally and some friends have told us they are getting professional help, which is such great news. We continue to encourage and spend time with our friends and family, who are spread out all over our country of residence.

bushes are getting green
We got 2 day off in a row for International Worker's Day,
so we went for a bike ride on one warm day!
5. Partners – We are grateful for all of your prayers, encouragement and support for our training and teaching! We continue to be blessed and peaceful because you are so dependable. In the midst of uncertainty, the certainty that you help provide is humbling.

6. Tired – It’s true, we get tired. When Jesus was tired, he prayed for relief. We pray for mercy and favor for the people, we pray for provision for those who are in need and we pray for protection and healing and less death. We also pray for long-suffering, give praise that our Father is with us and ask that His will be done in His timing.
